Soup Kitchens/Food Pantries

Now, more than ever, local soup kitchens and food pantries are increasing efforts to ensure that they can maintain safe and stable services to large numbers of people through this crisis. Food donations are accepted, but financial donations are the most useful, so they can stretch each dollar by buying wholesale and in bulk. If you are in a position to help, please consider donating to one of the local food pantries we have highlighted. If you find yourself in need of food or assistance, visit foodpantries.org to find a food bank in your area.

We will be updating this page often to include the greatest needs of our non-profit partners throughout the area.

    • Meals on Wheels America is a nonprofit organization with over 5,000 programs across the country, offering older Americans relief by providing meals, overcoming social isolation and removing safety hazards in their homes. Currently, Meals on Wheels is helping 2.4 million Americans annually.
    • Many older Americans wish to age gracefully in their own home, which is also referred to as aging in place. Meals on Wheels makes aging in place less stressful by removing the hassle of excess cooking and cleaning.
